CPTC Offers Students Tuition Installment Plan

In an effort to offer students an easier way to pay for college, Clover Park Technical College has introduced a new Tuition Installment Plan that allows students to split their tuition into three payments.

Previously, the college offered an outsourced payment plan option for students through Nelnet, but the new TIP structure is designed to remove the middleman and provide better resources and support for students. Students meet with CPTC’s TIP Specialist, who personally walks them through the plan process and sets up the contract and payment schedule.

There is no minimum amount necessary to set up a payment plan, and all CPTC students with an out-of-pocket expense may enroll. The program also benefits students who are waiting for third-party funding and want an alternative to student loans. The three-installment plan includes a $25 enrollment fee but is entirely interest-free.

Plans are set up on a quarterly basis, giving students the freedom to enroll only when necessary. Important target dates for enrollment and payments are available at CPTC’s TIP web page, but dates can be adjusted depending on when a student enrolls. While early enrollment is encouraged and gives the largest gap between payment due dates, late enrollment is allowed.
