Twenty-one high school students 'CPTC themselves' at CPTC as part of MultiCare's Nurse Camp.

Nurse Camp

July 28, 2014

Twenty-one high school students from the MultiCare Health System Nurse Camp 2014 visited Clover Park Technical College July 24.

The students had the opportunity to 'CPTC themselves' in three of the College's health sciences programs: Nursing, Hemodialysis and Medical Assistant. They explored the health care professions and participated in hands-on activities like learning how to make an arm cast.

The campus visit was just one stop of the weeklong camp for 100 high school sophomores and juniors interested in health-related careers from Pierce, South King and North Thurston Counties.

CPTC offers a variety of health sciences programs to prepare students for rewarding careers in health care.
