CPTC to Celebrate 20th Commencement Ceremony

Clover Park Technical College will celebrate more than 400 graduating students from its two campuses and 43 programs during its 20th Annual Commencement Ceremony at the Tacoma Dome Saturday, June 18, 2016, at 2:30 p.m.

The graduating class includes the first eight CPTC students to graduate with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Manufacturing.

The ceremony’s keynote speaker will be Dr. Gene Sharratt, executive director for the Washington Student Achievement Council. The student speaker will be Myra Morales, CPTC Associated Student Government president and Pre-Nursing Degree student.

Attendance to the ceremony is open to the public, and doors open at 1:30 p.m. There are new security protocols that will impact all attendees: everyone will pass through a metal detector, no backpacks are allowed, and bags or purses cannot be larger than 13 inches by 15 inches.
