Managing Change
Members of the Clover Park Technical College campus community attended a Change Management Workshop hosted by the college’s chapter of the American Association of Women in Community Colleges Jan. 28 in Bldg. 23.
CPTC staff, one student and a staff member from Bates Technical College attended the workshop led by Claire Korschinowski, dean of Division I at CPTC. Korschinowki’s presentation guided the attendees through the process of change and its effects. The following tools were presented as a guide on how to thrive during times of change: be reflective, be creative and innovative, invest in yourself, think differently about yourself and your work, seek career coaching and use your network.
The CPTC Chapter of AAWCC will next host a Public Speaking Workshop March 10 at 11:30 a.m. in Building 3’s Rotunda. For more information, please visit http://www.cptc.edu/aawcc.
The CPTC Chapter was established in 2013 and is guided by a commitment to equity and excellence in education and employment for women in community and technical colleges.
