Grainger Tools For Tomorrow Scholarship Applications Open Through March 17
Clover Park Technical College students going into their final year of study in in Industrial Programs for the 2017-18 Academic Year can apply for the Grainger Tools for Tomorrow Scholarship until March 17.
The Grainger Tools for Tomorrow Scholarship is designed for degree students who will graduate at the end of Fall 2017, Winter 2018 or Spring 2018 from an Industrial Degree Program. Qualified programs include Heating/Air Conditioning, Electronics, Welding, Automotive, Construction, Aviation Maintenance, Mechatronics, Non-Destructive Testing and Emergency Management.
All qualifying students are invited to apply, with veterans greatly encouraged as there is a large scholarship pot designated for veterans. The application deadline is Friday, March 17, at 4:30 p.m. Applications can be turned in to the CPTC Advising & Counseling reception desk in Building 17 on the Lakewood Campus.
Applications must include: a completed Grainger Application Form; letter of recommendation from professor, teacher or advisor; transcript demonstrating grade point average of 3.0 or higher; 200-300 word self-written statement (see application for details); list of clubs, activities, accomplishments, leadership roles held, etc. (see application for details).
