The President’s Unsung Heroes for 2014

CPTC's Cosmetology Faculty received the January 2014 President's Unsung Hero Award for providing 175 free haircuts to kids in need.

CPTC's Automotive Program received the President's Unsung Hero Award for March 2014 for consistently participating in community events and ensuring that their students can connect with local employers.

Janet Holm, Clover Park Technical College’s outreach coordinator, was selected as the President's Unsung Hero for the month of August for her efforts to refine CPTC’s business practices and increase student success and educational access.

Brian Powell was selected as the President's Unsung Hero for October 2014 for his role in the college being awarded a federal grant for nearly $2.5 million for the Mechatronics Technician Program.
